When Marcelo Gracia was 38, he was active and working full time. Seven years later, he can barely move. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, has steadily taken control of his body, leaving his son, Gael Guadalupe Gracia Garcia, to feed, bathe and dress him. As Gracia confronts his own mortality and fears eternal damnation, he holds onto the belief that his son still has hope for salvation.
